About Phildelphia-NE County

Fostering Hope Philly-NE supports foster, kinship, adoptive, and reunifying families throughout Northeast Philadelphia by providing clothing, hygiene items, baby gear, and essential resources through our Foster-Share Closet.

Through the generosity of our community, we ensure that children and families are met with dignity, care, and support during times of transition. We partner with local organizations, agencies, and community members to meet the real, everyday needs of the families we serve. Whether it’s restocking essentials, hosting donation drives, or welcoming families into our Closet, our work is powered by volunteers and donors who show up again and again.

How to Help

Fostering Hope relies on donations to keep the Foster-Share Closet open and Bags of Hope going to foster families and children. All donations go to operational costs and providing tangible support to children in foster care in Southeastern PA. We appreciate all varieties of donations including monthly gifts, one-time gifts, gift-cards, donation drive sponsors, purchases off our wish-list, as well as any good to new quality donations of baby gear, clothing, toys, books, etc. If you would like to donate financially please use the form on this page.

Your gift provides critical resources to children that desperately need it and to those who are willing and able to turn their families into foster families.

Fostering Hope is 100% volunteer run. We could not do what we do without our awesome team of dedicated volunteers. We have a wide variety of volunteer roles including inventory support, administrative work, facilitating Bags of Hope, hands on work at our closets and more!
